Lettings market growth in June

June’s data from the Agency Express Property Activity Index has reported further growth for the UK lettings market. National figures saw month on month increases with properties ‘Let’ at 7.4% and new listings ‘To Let’ at 7.8%.

London sat at the top of this months leader board returning buoyant figures in both new listings ‘To Let’ at 22.4% and properties ‘Let’ at 12.3%. The largest declines in this months index were recorded in the North East.

Commenting on the latest Property Activity Index lettings report, Stephen Watson Managing Director of Agency Express said:

As we look back over historical data recorded by the Property Activity Index, we can see that June is typically a buoyant period for UK lettings market. This month we have seen we have seen a good level of activity but year on year figures remain down.
