Monthly increases for March’s lettings market
The latest data from the Agency Express Property Activity Index has highlighted month on month increases for the UK lettings market in March. National figures for new listings ‘To Let’ sat at 13.1% while properties ‘Let’ sat at 4.8%.
This months regional hot spots included the North East and the North West, both recording robust increases in properties coming on to the market and properties ‘Let’.
The largest decline recorded in this months index was made in the East Midlands with figures for properties ‘Let’ sitting at -15.6%.
Commenting on the latest Property Activity Index lettings report, Stephen Watson Managing Director of Agency Express said:
Historically we see a bounce in activity throughout March and this month’s lettings activity has been fairly steady. However, as our report has highlighted year on year figures have started to wane.
